| Went with a friend and a canoe. Got there just after 8 am. It was a beautiful sunny day and the lake was calm. The fish finder didn't show much, just a few on or near the bottom and a couple midwater. We were out there until 5 pm without a single bite. We tried trolling at multiple depths, with a willow leaf and wedding band, dodger, green frog among others. We tried anchoring and casting out for a while, as well as bottom bouncing right where the fish were showing up on the sonar. No interest whatsoever.
Of Note: only 2-3 risers all day. flies, larvae and their counterparts live with no fear on the surface.
Overall a great day spent alone in the sun and wilderness. No-one else was on the lake, which was awesome!
