| Sasamat lake opens at 8pm but i saw someone there before the gates opened. You can park along the road that encircles the lake and there are steep trails leading form the road to the lake. Ever report i read said go to the floating dock and use shrimp and let it drop to the bottom. i could feel little nibbles at times but noting able to set the hook with i even tried a worm. only saw two fish rise that morning. i decided to head over to the west side of the dock where i could see there was some deadfall and got two good bites that i wasnt able to set the hook (must have been a small fish). I also tried a Flatfish in frog colour casted and retrived through the logs but nothing happend. Maybe all try some spots along the shore next time because it looked like those spots dropped off pretty deep. Try something different here because i think the fish are use to shrimp or just go the day after they stock the lake either or. Tigh Lines!
