| Buddy and I shore-fished from the east bank, sticking mostly to the northern half of the lake. Had a few bites on light (1/8g) spinners, but nothing caught. We saw a few guys catch a small trout trolling in the north-central area.
We saw a -LOT- of jumping trout in the north-central area, where I'm guessing the water is deeper. We pretty consistently saw fish feeding 15-20' past where we could cast out to using light spincasting gear. We think we'd be eating well if we had some long-cast fly gear.
Long weekend, there were tons of people on the beach by about 11am, but from 7am until about 9:30, it was almost just us there. Even with the 30+ degree temps, it was nice in the shade.
