| Fished for just over 5 hours and had a decent amount of action. Only 5-6 boats at max. since the weather is not the best it could have been. I started with the usual olive bugger then I decided to try some small flies from my steelhead collection. It worked very well and I caught 4 within 2 hours and lost over a dozen trouts due to the small barbless hooks. Only one over 12" and all the others were rather small 9" to 10" rainbows. Most of the fish caught was around Western shallow end in only 1 meter of water where there's lots of submerged logs and structures. There's a light current in that area which trouts just love and they search for small insects on rainy days in there.
Please don't throw your beer cans into the lake guys. I noticed at least 3-4 of them and they were too deep for me to try retrieving them.
