| cold windy day on the lake. ice was about 1 foot thick.water depth was abot 2 feet below ice. had action right away. tryed deeper water the day before no luck. everyone is fishing in shallow water.you can drive into forestry campsite. used shrimp ring from grocery store abot 1 foot from a big silver spoon for wieght/flasher
