| Visiting from the states and wanted to fish but avoid the crowds at Vedder and the Fraser. Started off for bass by the lily pads with an 8wt rod with a topwater popper with no luck. Switched to a 3wt with a size 18 green beadhead nymph like the one above and had decent action. Four of the fish were micro bass (less than 4cm). Three of them were pumpkinseed sunfish about 10cm and one was a crappie about 12cm. Getting my inflatable kayak out of the lake was a bit gross...duck/geese poop all over the boat launch. Good day on the water though. BC is a beautiful place.
