| could not get a bite on any type of power bait, then an old salty pro came down and sat next to me and had a fish with in 2 seconds i think he had 8 by then end of the evening. I noticed he had rainbow power bait and was with in a foot of my line(ha, figures) i switched to little bite sized marshmellows and booom could not stop getting hits and had two 10 inch and a 14 inch within 20 minutes. not sure if it was the colour change or his power bait but it did not take long. Threw the line as far into the 10 m range as i could standard 2 ft leader, make sure weigh with a slip sinker or a tear drop with cutting off the brass tie and threading the line straight through the lead weight and crimp the eye with pliers and tie one knot in line 2 feet back so it weighs at the bottom but your bait floats and the fish do not get resistance when they hit it, or else they spit it out right away (tight line or no fish)
