| Fished with my son around the lake. I was using a wooly bugger, he was using an ultralight with a chartreuse curlytail gel jig and a bullet head weight to get some casting distance. Ended up at the deck and the south end and he got a couple of nibbles and finally a good hit. Fish gave no fight at all. 11", silver, but I could not recognize the type (definitely not a rainbow, so I guessed on the type). No joy on the fly. Lots of surface action as we headed to the car about 6PM.
