| Tried shore casting at Echo for the first time with little success using mostly lucky bugs and a quick retrieval. The areas you can walk in to are very shallow and there is a lot of dead fall in the water, so expect snags. I had a lot of bites and caught one rainbow about 11". There is very little room for your back cast at almost all of the areas you can cast from, with the exception of the resort.
