| Lots of bites from the pesky Pikeminnow, but very decent fight for their size. Fun little rod benders. All were caught while casting from shore. Didn't even take any interest in the lure until shallower water (about 3-6 feet deep). Some followed lure into 4" water depth, but just watched.
Park on mountain side of Columbia Valley Hwy in a little pull-out area just between Delta Grove Campground and Honeymoon Bay. Just across the road and over the cement barrier, there is a steep shale/gravel hill that goes down about 50 feet to the lake. Not very kid friendly, but do-able with good shoes. Takes you to a small clearing, enough room for 2 people to castcomfortably. Nice little spot where almost nobody else will beat you to.
