| Arived at 8 noticed the water levels were down 3-4 feet below normal. Water was abnormaly warm. Started fishing 8:30 quick kick around the small island by the beach, past the hatchery and back produced nothing but a few small fish near the shore and in the shallows. Did another patrol the opposite direction to the east side and back around no bites, came back tired from fighting the wind and decided to try some shore fishing over the drop off thats just off the beach. We switched patterns alot through the day spratleys produced most of the wee fish. Talking to some of the other fishers there that day the lake was just not producing fish. I want to atribute that to the low water levels, not my skills as a fisherman but who can tell. Finished at 2:30. what a slow and boring day.
