| Hooked a LOT of fish on the flatfish with the two smallest buckshot you can get, but mostly smaller fish, the smallest about the size of my index finger. Fewer but bigger fish in general on the Sprately, Black, floating line/sinking tip. I trolled from the launch all the way around the north end of the lake, and I marked the spots where the fish were. The North End had a couple of bites, but not worth the time fishing there. Afterward I trolled down past the cliff-diving rocks, past a little floating thing with a warning on it, had a couple of strikes and then landed the biggest fish I've seen come out of Buntzen, almost 2 lbs, on the Spratley.
There were fish rising all over at times, although the average size was smaller than usual. Most everybody was catching something somewhere. I even saw a small boy casting what looked like a lake troll. First time I went past I thought, now way. On the way back he was bringing a fish in!
