hey guys. fly tiers specifically... do you guys have any favorite sites you prefer for info on different fly patterns/tutorials/etc etc..?
POST EM UP!
im looking for some "how to tie" BC friendly nymphs myself.
ive just been going the youtube route, but wondering if there's any "gems" out there, in terms of websites, that a novice tier like myself should check out.
thanks guys

you are welcome. i have his stillwaters book that i use as a guide to tie from as well. good instructions. it really helped me get started tieing some decent flies and gave me the encouragement to use my imagination to alter different "designs". i need a computor at my tieing bench but that is another thing on my list. when i get tieing small lake flies i will post some pictures. i've got a bunch of bucktails for shuswap lk that i have tied since august. (like the ones above )far too many as i won't be able to decide which one to use. some old friend had better come along and clean me out . last year i must have "lost" about 20 or more that way! oh well, the ones i have now are new and improved . every time i go to town it seems i find another colour of hair i like or some different angel hair or whatever ! but it is fun ! keep us up to date on the north island. i hope to get over to visit my sister this summer. she lives on an island off pt hardy so has salmon out her back door she says!

MR JEFF!!! great link man! i love how he simplifies it so well. great for beginners.
i always have trouble with patridge legs for my stoneflys so i just always use rubber legs. i like them better anyways but im going to have to learn to tie otherlegs as well. this is a great place to learn it!
thanks man
