with everything being so quiet it is a good time to start a year end photo show. the rules are no one is allowed to criticize even if it is not an example of proper fish handling. now show your pictures !

Hey Mike, that 28" fish you call a summer run steelhead is actually a cutthroat.
steelheadmike72

ya...ive had it called a summer run--cutthroat and a kelt...picked it up in the Clux..
steelheadmike72

nope should not be on the rocks for sure...1st fish caught on the fly...alone..was on rocks inches from shore for less than a minute..definately shouldnt be there ..but i was excited as hell and pumped...but if you read the beginning thread this is to post pics and not to be critisized for bad handling...even tho..i agree..it was handled bad..but not bad for my 1st fish ever on the fly and being alone...sure was one heck of a day tho..

by far not the silverest fish i kept but it was not bad for the thompson in september, it was very good eating, had huge roe sacks and fought like hell. what more could you want?
