im curious into what the situation is on pitt lake in regards to buying a cabin. Ive understand that last year there was a dicision made by the Katzie Indian Band not to renew a lease made by cabin owners and the Band 25 years ago. As a result of this, 40 cabins were orderd removed, yes removed as in torn down by the end of 2003. So, has anyone herd of this story? Dose anyone know if its possible to buy cabins up there now? I would by thankfull any info on this matter. here is a link from a cbc news story about this.

That's why you want to have a cabin on the east side of the lake. Not only that but who wants to sit in the shade from midday on. The other day I heard about someone moving out on the east side. Last cabin on the east side for that matter. Very private with lots of usable land. Here's a website if anyone's interested. www.pittlakecabin.com The fishing is fantastic. Dolly varden, sturgeon, big lake trout, carp. Not to mention a very large spring salmon run every summer. All that and its so close. You gotta love it.
