So am I stupid for doing so? I like it a lot and do not feel the cold but i get weird looks when I do. going to buntzen tomorrow.

I know you said the cold doesn't bother you but,another tip is to lace your boots and fins on the loose side to allow circulation.People worry about how many sox they can cram on but by the time they're all squeezed in,it's more harm than good.

Might also wanna get a full face balaclava. Princess Auto has them. I have one for days when the wind howls at 50 mph when riding my motorcycle. Ever ridden when it's minus 10c. I have ONCE. had to ride into town as we broke our axe. 45 Kms round trip.

i was out the day after the ice came off my local lake last april. the water was a lot colder then.
if you fish the mountain lakes in the okanagan in the spring it is often winter like. just dress warm and have good neoprenes.
and most of all be crazy enough to get out there !
