Has anyone fished this lake?
Can you fish from shore or do you need a boat,and what kind of fish are in there?

There are some good opportunities for cutthroat trout right now below Ruskin Dam (mouth of Stave River).
Chum fry started to hatch and cutties are shifting their attention from insects to minnows. Check the following report:

As for the Stave lake itself, if I am not mistaken, there was a governmental program to fertilize this lake and they reported it was successful. Kokanee should be there. While I didn't fish there for a long time, I would expect trolling small dick nites (white/red) should produce (similar to Alouette lake).

caught a few small trout at the dam with lures a couple years ago , a boat would be a good idea up there good spots if you can find them??
