Hi,
Sorry If bothering anyone with my question: today I went to Rolley Lake and the main gate was closed, meaning no car access in the provincial park.Is this normal at this time of the year?

they usually post a open or closed sign on dewdney trunk road just before you turn to go to the lake

Hi,
Thank you for your messages ! I have read that the lake is stocked ,that is why I went there around 11 AM.. there is a sign on the street coming from Maple Ridge saying that is closed ..
At least others will read this post and will not go there for nothing.

probably closed to keep that jerk kid and his dad from bringing his electric motor out there...

If you visit Rolley on a sunny saturday or sunday during the "closed" season there will be 10+ cars parked outside the gate. walkers, radio/gps groups, and anglers keep using the park with no trouble. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.
