My father was telling me about how the capilano river was his favorite fishing spot for coho salmon when he was young. He wanted to go down there and have a look and maybe cast in a few times but I think the canyon is too dangerous so I'm wondering if any of you guys know a pretty safe spot with maybe some pools. Thanks.

Pretty sure chum go up the cap. On fishing with rods report he says there are chum coho and Chinook. But most chum Are in spawning mode.
