What is your opinion on Berkleys trout dough 8ft rod for casting rooster tails, blue foxes etc...

I have the 8ft UL and it worked for me all summer. Was using it to cast 1/8oz spoons and spinners. Landed bows and cutties on it. Great rod.

hey gmcbill, the question was how good a berkly ultra light rod was for casting lures. he wasn't asking how trout doe works.
glad you are excited about fly fishing though.
