I caught a coho the other day from the vedder. Think there will be any Chinook salmon By the 15th after some rainfall yesterday? Reply if you know.

are you sure it was a coho you caught and not a spring jack?

Well there will be fish in there forsure. May not in the huge numbers yet, however with the rain that we had it give the bigger whites a little more room to come up the river. This fishery will start to pick up here soon and the crowds will be out in full force.

i've been up to the vedder every day this last week and that rain didnt bring the river up at all, if anything the river was lower this morning. there is a few fish in there right now but they are very scarce, its just so low theres not much coming up at all. im hopping we get a good 2-3days of hard rain that will bring the water up and then the fish will be rolling in like no tomorrow.

I was in the canal this morning for a couple of hours before darting off to work. I was using a spoon and my buddy was using wool. We didn't get so much as a nibble. Water is very low, but the fish still have to come up. Trying again tomorrow afternoon.

Springs are in lightly. Played with a couple yesterday, and a buddy landed a nice 15lb'er before letting him go. Far and few between, but none the less, let the fun begin. Welcome to the beginning of the GONG SHOW!!!

I went out today. we got nothing. lots of guys on bergman road area. Only one guy had a fish on. i think it was a jack spring. he lost it though. Think it will be better next weekend?

Went out Sat and Sun. Sat i got 2 coho both wild tho so released before they hit the beach. My friend landed a nice spring as well. All the fish were bright chrome, and that spring was deffinatly tasty. On sunday we went out there as well after the good day out. Wilson was a snaggle zone some inexperienced casters out there forsure, but you got to deal with it. So we waded all the way up to the train bridge. Another wild coho. I guess i just don't have any luck for the keepers but, both good days out there. Super hot though with the waders and shorts on.
