Well spent the last couple afternoons fishing at a lil lake within an hour from Vernon and fishing was quite decent...first day 2hours and 5 fish in...2 kept one being 24inch 4-5lbs! and nothing small or even really smallish...today out for about 3 hours and 4 in (2 kept again) the smallest of them pictured above (reason for no other pics of fish was that I just didn't remember/think of photos on the others as I was having too much fun, lol.
As for location....srry but the fairly light fishing pressure I experienced there over the long weekend (spot by myself on Sat and shared with a few today) is going to have to keep my lips sealed over an internet forum on this one....some may figure it out possibly by the pics and such though ;-P........sliding egg sinker, bead, swivel.....24inch leader, size 10 gammy with a glob of powerbait floating off bottom.......all from shore/dock

Turtles were loving it as well....could be a hint for those familiar ;-P

Haha, figured someone local would know as well......probably wont get out again until thursday or friday and then not sure if I will hit the Shuswap or S. Thompson for Salmon or go back there for some damn nice bows....will post back here before I decide to go though.

may as well go for your trout. still no salmon. are they coming or not?
ps wish they had put brookies in your little secret. they did in the lake next to my place .

good to know...thanks Cagey....and yes (not really a secret though so to speak, lol) I was wondering if they did put any in as well but guess not.....apparently some Kokanee in there though???.....Chatted with a few local boys as was told of a couple caught there now...he figures they must have thrown some in there sometime in the last few months....only hearsay though

Yeah hard to say, I have only pulled Rainbows out of there so far. I will report back if that changes...
