I have to question the apparent "obsession" Anon has with the Fishing Reports section and his practice of posting hundreds of utterly useless and sometimes obviously bogus reports. Take the last report for example on Elbow Lake; where he thought it neccassary to make a report even though; -he had no idea of what method or depth he was fishing -he had no idea what the weather was -he had no idea what he was fishing for -he had no idea how busy the place was or what his experience was like.
A recent past report had him catching hundreds of sturgeon in a small lake... these are an example of a number of his reports. Is this not consistant with a troll, only in the fishing reports section instead of the forum?
What's with this obsession anyway? Wasn't a recent nasty forum trolls' main issues all related to the Fishing Reports' section? Didn't he say he had hundreds of reports and posts? Didn't he say he was a mixed race? Hmmmmm....
Anyway I think it would be nice to clean up and limit some of these kinds of reports to maintain report credibility. Scoreing them low is an obvious move, but they are also a waste of time and space.
Just my thoughts.

thank you ChrisS, this somehow was not on my radar. the reports section is very different than the forum, so we'll have to see what the administrator can do about this. i will let you know what i find out.

Until we get a solution from the site administration, maybe another good thing would be to go and positively rank those that were good reports. Even if the spam ones vanish (or not), that will leave a very clear indication of which reports are worth a read. I know I check them before I go somewhere I have not been in a while or somewhere new.

Please ignore the Fraser-Hamilton Road report i just submitted (or hit it with 1 star). Was checking to see if you posted a report without logging in it would call it 'anonymous'. Was finding it hard to believe one douche was making all those ridiculous reports :P

Seems Anon is an avid poacher too, if you check out his latest report on "fraser-lower island bar" where he boasts about snagging 4 non-retainable sockeye in the tail and back...and keeping them to bbq. Isn't that kind of report just as bad as all his useless and bogus reports? or is he just trollin'?

It seems that this joker has gone a bit too far. I think it would be appropriate to forward this report along with his IP address to the DFO.
