We made EYE contact with this sign on the way to Lower Barge Lake and decided that we would fish there anyway.

So post again to let us know you did not get squashed by an earth mover. Only then should this thread be taken as advice for a fishing spot.

Yes we lived to tell the tale. Fishing was slow, my buddy landed two, I had a good sized one by the boat but it made one more pull for freedom and won.
Access is a little tight, bit of a struggle with the boat, definitely a 4x4 (short wheelbase) for the lake itself but walkable with a lightweight and then a 2wd is OK.
Definitely will go again.
