Was wondering about all the local in the city lakes like como, lafarge, burnaby, trout, deer, green timbers, surrey lake and all the other little spots in the city. I have read lots of posts about these spots but nothing recent. Does anyone ever fish these pollution holes? Are any of them safe to eat trout from/ What ones are the best ?

You can eat them out the lakes ...because there usually not in there long.! And most of the lakes aren't fishing well because no stockings lately some of them won't be stocked till fall.!!

They are good to fish for about a week after they are stocked, then they are fished out. Safe to eat, no problem. Here are the stocking reports: http://www.gofishbc.com/fish-stocking-reports.aspx
