Does anyone have any experience of this boat or would you recommend something different. It is well rated on Cabela's web site. It looks really comfortable with plenty of room to dance. (image from Cabela's web site)

Thank you MrGrey1 for your quick reply. It will take an outboard on the transom also it is prewired for a bow mounted electric. The seats will lower to allow for operating the outboard. It has oar locks, rod holders, live catch well, battery storage. It is 12ft long and 5ft wide.

I do have an older 12ft fibreglass and it does the job. Gets blown around in even the slightest of wind. I am thinking of filling the bow with concrete to make it easier to handle.

The advantages are the lower profile, flatter bottom for stability, wider, will take a bow mount trolling motor.
