Stave has larger Kokanee (15" average), rainbow (skinny), nice cutthroat, big dolly varden (char), steelhead, various course fish (peamouth chub, suckers, pikeminnow, etc), once was stocked with Atlantic Salmon and mystery-fish...
Most people head for the north end, and also in front of the Hydro inflow tunnel from Alouette lake. Good for rainbow and small dollys across from the boat launch, cutthroat near creek mouths. Tackle depends what you are fishing for, downriggers would be handy.
Be careful of stumps and debris, follow red and green markers in the channel. The wind sometimes blows up out on the lake.

you can troll for rainbows,cuttys,koks,and there are large dollys in the lake.you can can use flys,worms,spoons, etc. good luck it can be a trickey lake.
