Hey everyone:
In a couple of weeks we'll be heading to the 100 Mile area and plan on fishing Valentine and Irish lakes while staying at Sheridan lake. Anybody have any suggestions on fishing these lakes or other, smaller, lakes in the area? I've searched this website and can't find much info. on them.
We'll be in our 12' NuCanoe w/o a motor, so I prefer smaller lakes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go and explore the area yourself and once you find the gems, keep your lips sealed about them. This is big fish country and the hot spots shouldn't be revealed on the internet in my opinion. Bring strong leader/tippet, your going to need it. Bug spray as well. Use the google maps and get a bit of a game plan on the area you will be staying in. You can't go wrong with any of these beauty lakes. We don't want this place looking like the Fraser River in salmon season. No better satisfaction in exploring this area on your own and landing lunkers. Just don't reveal your locations over the internet, we will all regret that. Again, strong leader/tippet. You will hopefully see a few 6lbs+ fish on your fly.
