i was at mike lake today. caught 4 rainbows! not bad for a newbie. finally got a belly boat! WOOHOO. another fella that was there caught about 15 he said. everytime i looked at the guy he was strippin one in. nice guy, more experienced than me but i know at least a 10 bow day is possible there if fished right

awe man! I was there today and got skunked!
Da_Lick_Man

The dock looks good, I was there on the 9th and also got skunked. I only saw a few come in while we were there from 8am to 1230. I would be interested to know what buddy was using to pull in 15!

end of wharf holds max three (if you have mobility issues don't bother fishin off here, it's wobbly), so if you like sleepin in be prepared to cast of the side of the dock leading up to it, or bring a bellyboat, canoe, whatever. Or as one of the previous posts mention - waders. The fish go quiet around 0930-1000hrs it seems. After lunch it picks up again a bit.
