Hey guys going to mike lake tomorrow. fishing from the shore and I'm using a cast and bober method with worms. If anyone knows a tip or spots they know of and would care to share them feel free.

hey man. this report was taken a few days ago of mike lake. seems to be he was finding alot of action in the lower right bay. check it out

bring boots or waders if u have them so u can walk around to left side of the lake from the dock.just in case theres no room for ya on the dock eh'. good luck n keep us posted.

i was at mike lake today. caught 4 rainbows! not bad for a newbie. finally got a belly boat! WOOHOO. another fella that was there caught about 15 he said. everytime i looked at the guy he was strippin one in. nice guy, more experienced than me but i know at least a 10 bow day is possible there if fished right

The dock looks good, I was there on the 9th and also got skunked. I only saw a few come in while we were there from 8am to 1230. I would be interested to know what buddy was using to pull in 15!

small leeches. anything under an inch. black or green micro leeches. nymph the shoal also

end of wharf holds max three (if you have mobility issues don't bother fishin off here, it's wobbly), so if you like sleepin in be prepared to cast of the side of the dock leading up to it, or bring a bellyboat, canoe, whatever. Or as one of the previous posts mention - waders. The fish go quiet around 0930-1000hrs it seems. After lunch it picks up again a bit.
