Just got back from Lindeman lake,what a trek to say the least.Caught a few rainbows but no keepers.And furthermore they are very deep.

I've been camping there last summer and have seen a few big ones at the shallow pool on the north face of the lake. That is where the mountain run off feeds into the lake. Pretty deep lake for its size too

I usually pass up on Lindeman Lake and keep hiking up to Greendrop. Greendrop is crystal clear and a float tube is recommended, I would also suggest small flies on a long leader. I have tried many different lures, worms and bait from shore with no success, you can see the trout chase your lure, then loose interest and swim away.

anyone tried Flora lake bit further up?
looks to be plenty of small ones

I went to Flora years and years ago. You can hike up over the top of the ridge from further down Chilliwack Lake and then come back down through Flora, Greendrop, Lindeman, Post Creek etc. We caught quite a few nice fish out of there because its so hard to get in that the fishing pressure is almost non- existent. Not a hike for the out of shape or the faint at heart! Lots of bears on the ridge between Flora and Chilliwack lake.

Ah sweet, thanks! Yeah last time I was up at the ridge between Flora and Chilliwack lake, I saw fresh bear tracks in the snow. Quite unsettling.
And to anyone else thinking of it, stress on the fitness and bring copious food + water
