Jones lake was closed to all traffic.....
So I drove to Silver Lake.
What a place and not a soul around...Had the lake to myself..lol
Most of the fishing was at the south end in the creek leading to the lake.Water temp was somewhat cold at 46f.

never cought one there yet myself. used to get bussy from may long weekend on with the kids partying from hope once schools out. used to have cops up there all the time

Ill be back up there in a few weeks.Will need a floating device of some sort the hit the middle of the lake.
I was told by a local angler today that fish are abundant there.
But fishing the creek there this morning was awesome.

Silverhope Creek is not open to fishing now. The regs are located at

Yesterday there was allot of blasting south of Silver Lake,either that or hillbilly's shouting at wildlife.
Sounded like 12 gauge to me.
