Hi everyone
I am new to this site, but a frequent viewer of this site and it's forum. It's awesome.
Been a fly fisherman for about a year and a half now, and I am loving every minute of it. I just got so sick and tired of spincasting, doing the same thing over and over. Flyfishing even if your not catching fish, you're learning new things and how to improve them. There is always something new to discover. Anyways I'm going out fishing tomorrow with a couple of pals, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to fly fish on the shoreline? I've had some decent success at Morris lake, got a couple of cutties and a squaw in there. Salmon River in Ft Langley was a great learning experience, I got a beautiful cuttie out of there aswell. Thinking of heading out of town towards Harrison. I've done the docks of Grace and Wolf and way too crowded for my liking. They are better suited for a float tube. I have chest waiders so I can go into the water a bit. We were thinking of Stacey lake in Kent, and trying the shoreline of Kilby? Are these places okay for a flyfisherman still learning to handle their backcast?
I hear Nicomen slough can be decent aswell.
Any ideas and info would be much appreciated. Thankyou!!!
