Hi Speed

Hey there 63vette dont meant to rain on your parade, but there is no way in hell that is a 8 pound fish, more like 5 maybe 6, I know you didnt way it but check out this link http://www.rodrule.com/Rodrule1004/Conversion_Charts.html Helps you understand. I know from experience, and even if your fish is 29" it has no girth. Dont want to sound jealous as i have caught plenty of fish that size and way bigger. To Show you here is a rainbow thats 27" with 14" girth, weighed at 8 pounds, its a little shrunken as its a day old but still shows its size.

Cheers,

I'm kind of thinking that sturgeon should have been in a sling or left in the water for pictures. Nice pictures and fish!
allovereveryday

the stergeon idk know about i wasnt on the boat and the sockeye we maxed out with 5 people
smokin

looks diff than what, a squaw fish? If it came from lafarge puddle its a hatchery just like the other 14 you caught
Thatsarainbow

Could be cause its colder now.
63vette

My buddy caught one that was easily 3 to 4 pounds bigger than mine 30 minutes after i let her go wish we could of weighed them. Thats funny we had a trout jump in our boat in tunkwa to .
Cream Corn

not one of our biggest but definately THE easiest. This one jumped in our boat at Tunkwa about a month ago no rod needed lol. I was very thankful the hubby was quick enough to bonk it before it jumped back out
Thatsarainbow

To be honest I haven't measured the length yet. It's still sitting in my freezer. Yours must be around the 10-11 mark. I kept mine though cause it was my first fishing trip in 13 years and I caught a monster. None of my buddy's who were with me seen a bow that big before. I should have released.

Nice catch everyone, keep them coming in.
63vette

This was estimated to be 8lbs not officially weighed , after seeing that 14.4 rainbow makes me wonder if it was bigger how long was your fish mine was 29 inches.i can see your is a little fatter than mine but mine looks longer lololol sorry had to

smokin

mzmann, i see you got that coho in the spot I showed you when you bought the sage off me.Good work, glad you got some fish
mzmann

Ahhhh, so you're smokin...makes sense, lol......yes it indeed was caught there as well as quite a few others. (that humpy was also from that spot) And I think both of those ones were actually caught on that little cheapo spinning outfit I had with me on a BentRods spinner, lol....Alas, 4 hatchery's were caught by us within an hour or 2 of you leaving and we decided to let em go as we figured we would catch plenty more during the time we were down but ended up catching mainly wilds after that as well as some colored up chums and springs...only ended up taking 4 fish (hatchery coho's) back with us after our trip was finished but was still a great time/trip!...and I am loving the sage so far...hooked up quite a few with it on that trip and really loved it for yanking the big springs in! (we caught 3 over 30lb up higher on the river, just nothing worth puttin on the table, lol) thanks a ton and will maybe shoot ya an email or give ya a call next time im down that way fishin again.
fetoid

New direction for this topic: Smallest fish caught!
mzmann

Got nothing small of myself but here's one of my younger bro which he actually kept and ate that night!....should also point out that most times he is camping its more of a minimalist thing and he doesn't bother bringing much as he just eats what he catches or goes hungry, and im talkin borderline extreme minimalist, he's actually headed to climb Kilimanjaro at the end of this month the crazy f**ker, lol....not me, I come prepared and stocked to the gills!
Hi Speed
