i went there last week hoping to land myself a coho, instead all i got was probably the most pathetic and disgusting "fishing" if you can even call it that, of my entire life.

the chum are spawned out, ugly, and waiting to die and we have people flossing tiny channels, and hooking and just dragging the things in. THIS IS NOT FISHING PEOPLE. it made me sad to see a 8 or 9 year old boy standing not too far from me tossing in his 20 foot leader and hauling in a half-dead chum almost every cast because thats how his dad has shown him fishing.

i just thought i would get that off my mind, it was a disgusting sight.

the cuthroat fishing will be good on the stave.
Fishslippers

I fully agree.

I was there looking for coho, but hooked into lots of chum. Its unfortunate that snagging methods have found their way to these river systems.
