planning on going fishing this weekend to skagit river and silver lake (i have a small boat) probably spin casting for the most part...how is it doing? has anyone fished eithr lately? if so what technique/ bait

You DO know that the Skagit is a year round bait ban and no retention!!! Page 27 of the Freshwater Regulations, also the Skagit closes to fishing on November 1st.
