Anyone? I'm gonna head up there on Friday morning just to see. Haven't trout fished in years...

I fished 2 hours at the dock on saturday and had no bites. My buddy caught 2 at the dock with power bait under a float before that. I was fishing with a float and nothing for 2 hours so I went to the opposite side of the dock and I caught 3 in 10 minutes last saturday on a gold fire croc with bait scent. Could have been 4 in 10 minutes but with the first bite I didnt set the hook fast enough. If the sun is out then cast at the shade they seem to like shade better. I'd move to a different spot if the dock is busy... fish get spooked easily. Its good easy fishing at rice lake.

Hi all
Who says Rice got re-stocked ?
Theres nothing on the Freshwater fisherys fall stocking report.Is there somewhere else I should be looking for stocking reports?

So went up there on yesterday and it was pissing rain! Boo! Total of 4 of us on the dock. I caught none using spinners, my dad caught 1 using a fly under a float. The guy to our right caught 8 using spinners and the guy to our left caught 4 using worms under float. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
