I saw a guy with a bouncing better and 20 ft leader in the tidal Fraser today, just downriver from Sundbury Cedar on river Rd in Delta BC. At first I thought he was just using a betty as a weight and but then noticed the long leader. Wanting to help him out, I asked him what he was doing but he ignored me. He lost his hook/wool and continued to fish with nothing for like a 1/2 hour. Then he left in a huff.
I used a spoon and got one bite but lost it. Really slow.

jeez newbs.... Wait a minute im a newb too! Haha. Its slow because the comercial opening has been extended to the 13th. So they all got thier nets at the river mouth. The best time to go would be early morning because the comercial guys arent allowed to fish between 9pm and 6am. So whatever fish got through between that time hopefully makes it to your spot. Well that is what im betting on tomorrow morning.

worked to...got one i see....to small though, throw it back. think someone snagged his shoot and tore it bigger than he was born with.
