mzmann	Posted: 9/8/2011 2:39:43 PM Reply Hi all, Just looking for any info/recommendations as to decent areas within say 30-45min or so from town (Chilliwack) that one could recommend for decent fishing and camping around 17th-20th of October? Not looking for anything busy or gong show like the Vedder at that time, but somewhere decent with camping (Tent Trailer and 1ton Dually, NOT 4wheel drive, lol) Preferring to camp right at the fishing spot or right close by and no matter if its lake, stream/creek or river. We are heading out on a 1day salmon and 1day Sturgeon on the fraser with someone out of Chilliwack so this is why we are looking for somewhere not too far from town as the plan is to fish and chill at camp for a day before and possibly a day after as well and then additionally maybe even get the lines wet again after our days of fishing on the fraser....yes we are die hards and would love gettin full 12hr days of fishing in if possible and feeling up to it Any help or recommendations would be great! prunehands	Posted: 9/8/2011 7:40:09 PM Reply you could try Kilby on the harrison.Not sure about your guide,but I know many use that launch too.If you have a boat,it's a short run to the confluence or you could even head up river.Mostly chums but a few coho and spring.
mzmann	Posted: 9/8/2011 8:01:33 PM Reply Sorry, guess I should have clarified a bit better.....we already have our guide trip all planned out for both Salmon and Sturgeon and will be heading out on the Fraser for both of those days and other than our guide time we will not be bringing a boat of any sort so looking for decent shore fishing/camping areas for our time when not out with the guide........if Kilby is indeed still along the lines of what I described then I apologize......any other good suggestions for shore fishing lakes and such in the area would be great.
