where are some good river spots to fish in the vernon area

Shuswap river has some great salmon in it right now, lots of Chinooks and lots of trout in there now gobbling up the eggs......Enderby to Mable lake you will see lots of spots to fish...cook creek, kingfisher are just a couple but probably pretty busy especially on the weekends and there is also the other end out hwy 6 on the Lumby end of the Shuswap river....same thing out there....If you head y=out the Lumby way you can also stop in at KenCraft on lefthand side for any gear needed and they will be able to tell you anything you want to know further.

Puka....the Vernon River?.....there is no Vernon river, lol.....at least not in Vernon BC, lol

Lmfao, ok, I agree.....But the Shuswap is just out of town so its not so bad.

you cannot create rivers because it sounds good!!!
the shuswap river at the lumby end is closed for salmon as of aug 15th.
still trout fishing but it is c+r in the shuswap.
the enderby end will be very busy this weekend.

There catching salmon from boat and shore on the river around Enderby if that helps you thats not to far from Enderby !!!!
