I went to the osoyoos website and it said there is fishing... but... I never saw an actual place to fish when i visited and i saw no one else fishing. Then they said I had to go all the way to the Okanagan Falls to fish... I saw no place there either... no other fisherman were there as well. ???

Just being mislead a little I think. I do not know about Osoyoos Lake but Vaseux Lake you can fish from the shore or by boat (no powered boats). Launch from the south end if by boat. Go a little further north to Skaha Lake and you can lauch a power boat. Go west from Oliver and there are lakes up on the hills.
There is a lot to choose from. Get a copy of the Backroad Mapbook and there is a lot of advice about fishing lakes and rivers.
