Hey.... I was wondering if anyone would let me in on there favorite streams or rivers to fly for trout? I usualy fish lakes in my float tube and every time I try to research a river or stream they always seems to have low numbers or resricted. Is there any around that might be suitable for catch and release. Thank everyone ooh ya...in the lower mainland

The Thompson is a good one with rainbows to 26 inches, can be challenging for the novice though.
The Nicola is another nice stream with willing bows, access is a challenge on this one.

I'm sure you can match the hatch on the Skagit, but I know that one of my boxes, at least one side of it, is filled with Tom Thumbs in varying sizes and colours.
That is all I need to say about the Skagit.
