Hey guys Im new to the forum and fairly new to fishing. I fished the upper vedder yesterday bright and early, hooked into 2 springs lost the first one (small one) and brought in this pig

Just fish the bottom, I used 25# main line and 20# test leader (very short like 4-5 inches) baited with procured roe (they couldn't resist my huge chunks of chumm roe lol) fish the seam.
I cast close to shore and slowly work outwards.
My fish weighed in at 15 pounds gutted, she was full of eggs which I'm curing.
As for the location, I can't say as someone else took me there but the whole river is fishing nicely.

Sorry if it's a yummy fish and retention is permitted it's going to get bbq'd lol I love salmon
