I know it is middle summer and middle day is not good for fishing. However I did have some success and caught a few rainbows after changing to Gibbs willow leaf and a black wedding band with a grub.

Tried a load of other stuff with and without a snap weight to get depth, but as soon as I put the willow leaf/wedding band in I started to catch. Nothing big though.

Fishing from Summerland to Peachalnd. Anyone had any success here?

Im in kelowna right now - just wondering if you know what kind all of those small fish are that are schooling along the wharf by the marina lagoon? most are alevin size but i've seen a few that are 4-8 inches - look like mountain whitefish to me...

Can't say for sure as I have not looked for fish around there. Those that I have seen around the shallows have been pike minnow. They will bite at anything.
