Hey, I just recently bought myself a 12 footer with an electric motor, so I don't wana go out to far I just wana set anchor maybe a hundred feet out from shore off the coal port roads, I've heard about people catching salmon there, any pointers on lures ect, should I still use a floater? Thanks for your time

i have no idea if using a boat is feasable but for methods, look back on some threads by louis vouton (sorry if i screwed up the spelling)not too long ago then some a couple of years old . he casts from shore (he fly casts i believe but i assume casting spinners would work). if in your searches you find the threads i am talking about, renew them so everyone interested can read them.
