i was just wondering the right setup for A diver a flasher and a size 4 plug. From what i can find Im looking at the diver then 2 feet then the flasher and then 5-6 feet. Does this sound right? thanks I am trolling for rainbow.

i hook divers directly to my flasher and only use about a two foot leader to my plug.

thanks for the help, using a lyman with its own action i thought I might need a bigger leader then 2 foot. But i will start with that. cheers

i'd sure want more distance between all the hardware and the lure. i was surprised by abe's response but respect his opinion so it might be worth trying. there are some beautiful fish in mable. my buddy fishes there a lot.he fishes closer to the surface as he usuaully uses apex's with 4 oz weight.the only time i have fished there i caught two beauties. let me know how you do down deeper. am hoping to fish mable once the salmon open (something i have never done yet as i always fish the river) and will try for trout too.

ya mabel is a bit of a drive for me but it beats the okanagan lake traffic. My profile pic is at mabel. Still twinging fishing with lymans as have yet to have much luck. Caught the 5 pound rainbow there after giving up and going to the old standby wedding ring and worm..I did notice that using the 3 swivel system that my line where twisted so since added a 6 ball after the 3 swivel, so hopefully that will help. I will also be try the diver too and see what luck that brings me.. Thanks for all the help guys..
