going to take take out a buddy who hasnt been out fishing in years just wondering if anybody has any info on the road to stacey lake and could you launch a small inflatable boat.thanks

A couple of posts down it says there is active logging up there and the road "could" be blocked.

thanks for saving me a trip up there we will be leaving from pitt meadows is there any good fishing lakes within a 2 hour drive

Try grace lake look in the trip planner for it.You can gauge your time from the getting there tab in the trip planner one of the landmarks is the haney bypass so you can start there and do the math on how many km's it is and how much time it will take to get there.

No powered boats.You should get a reg book if you don't already have one.

thanks i have one but its in the kids room and she's sleeping is there any other lakes around that has good fishing and is allowed electric motors and is not to big of a lake

If you are going to Grace also try Wood, Morris, Elbow, Francis and Weaver lakes, all are good fishing and in the same basic area.

Elbow and Weaver lakes are best avoided on the weekend as they are party lakes, but Morris, Grace, Wood, Wolf and Francis tend to be suited more for fishing. Good luck out there and I hope to see some good reports from you on some of these lakes soon.

Also if you need a good boat launch avoid Wolf, Morris, Elbow and Grace lakes, a little bit of a walk or trail to get a boat to.

im going on monday the guy im taking is off work right now and is very sick so it sounds like francis lake as i have to pack the boat in myself again thanks for all the help and info

havent looked yet but is grace lake stocked or wild. trying to get there for sunday. never been before and found it snooping on some maps
