Any info on which mountain lakes in the okanagan are ice free would be appreciated...
My info is as recent as the May long weekend...
I heard Beaver (Swalwell) still had full ice
a quading co-worker of mine told me Meadow Lake, near postill is ice free and James lake is still half covered in ice

As a guide, check the elevation.
Osprey Lake 1100M Free
Allendale Lake 1500M Full Ice
Beaver Lake 1400M ??

I heard this morning that as of Wednesday May 25 Island lake is ice free, thus presumably the entire chain and beaver (1341m)should be ice free...
And since Arlington lakes are only at 1050m they are hopefully ice free....I'd like to fill my freezer with perch fillets.

Oyama lake is ice free.

As of this past weekend June 4/5, Big Meadow lake was still half frozen, although it's pretty high 1606m.

Good fishing at Jackpine lake, went this week. Ice off but still a bit cold. Jackpine is 1320m
