Topic: Six year old beginner, outfished me! |

Took a friend and his grandson fishing on Yellow Lake. The boy was only 6 and it was his first fishing experience. He had a cheap spin cast reel. He caught the first fish on a green wedding band and worm with a little weight. Fishing was slow, plenty of bites but nothing much hooked well.
It was a very memorable day for the boy. He could not wait to get back to the dock and try casting from there. I'll tell you later if he caught anything more.
