wow suprised not 1 mention of this lake on here. ive been fishin this one since i was a little kid. always bgeen hot there. good for ice fishing as well.
anyways just got back from a few days there and fishing just took off on fridaqy. guys had been there for a few days and not a bite. within 2 hours of us showing up we had to stop for tyhe day with our limits, and all nice sized. anywhere from 14 to 18 inchers.
so flies sucked bad., nobody was getting anything on flies. we used ford fenders with or without wedding bands and worm. didnt seem to matter on fighin bottom or top. we couldnt keep them off the hooks. we kept our limits for the 2 days but also released probably about 20 more each. fishing was best in morning and from 3pm till dark. just at dusk thye lake lit up with tons of them jumping and saw a fresh hatch of bug floating on the lake., not sure what they where as im just getting into the fly stuff. little black n silver things with what looked to be just a taill. ..not sure if this is what a reaql chronamin looks like but there was thousands of them. seem to hang in clusters.
i definatly need to buy a net. lost so many in the belly boat trying to get them over the side into the boat.
was an awesome time and had great weather. havent been there in 15 years and seems not much but for a couple cabins has changed since last there.
we first tried gwen lake but weasnt able to get all the way in quite yet due to 2 foot snow on raod right near lake. was able to get to back saide and saw lake is thawed but still had snbow all around the shore line. all other lakes along the coquihalla was still froze solid
ill be back with pics and try n load up a video or 2 we took of our trip

Yep, you are right, the site does need some upgrade. You can post pictures by attaching a picture but you can only do one per post. The picture is automatically added to you gallery.
I like the layout of the site and the simplicity, but the owner is slow to respond to change. Adding lakes should be a priority, so perhaps I'll dig the owner again.
Love your posts, so keep them coming. Waiting for you pictures now.

ok so no linking from my pic hosting site...ok, see if i got 2 hours to laod 1 ata time here...gonna nead to renw my license before im done this one...lol hell id qualify for seniors discount at this rate...lol guess i cant get any cheeper as it is with payin a buck for it.....k see if i can get this...

yes there was a couple spanners but dont know that till they are in the boat and some had eyes taken out or just to much damage to survive. kept our limits and tossed back about 20 more each, each day....dont need to be shot on here for it...lol
