Hi there, I was fishing there over christmas it was great. Look at the previous post titled ice fishing. You need a snowmobile to get in now. In the spring and summer we have tried from shore and it was ok. If you have a boat it would be better. It is off otter valley road and you turn on vought valley road, or you can go in from the cold water road and take kane valley road then turn off on vought valley road. There are a few lakes up there all in a row. Boss ,Tahala and davis lakes. Scope out the pics in the previous post.

Fishing is good there in the summer, and no you do not need a 4x4. But also it is kinda busy with people camping. Well not as busy as salmon fishing. There are some great campsites there as well.

Davis lake (near Mission) is located several km before Salsbury Lake. Check directions for Salsbury - you can see Davis.
Davis lake is full of Pikeminnows and I am not sure weather trout population remains healthy. Very beatiful place, easy access from shore. Some hiking involved.
